"Be Strong and of a Good Courage" (Analyzing a Blog)

Searching through multiple blogs, I came across a particular one that that caught my eyes and it is called “Be Strong and of a Good Courage.” The author that wrote this blog made it seem personal. The author is a Christian man who might be a pastor at Calvary Baptist Church located in Tennessee. The author truly believes in what he writes. He seems very true and sincere about all of his posts.
The author provides examples to how teenagers are struggling with their faith and how Satan is trying to sabotage peoples’ lives. The author uses Bible verses to illustrate his points. There are four tactics to how Satan is trying to sabotage our relationship with the Lord and they are:

1.Satan wants to damage our personal relationship with God! (Pschirerp, par. 1)
Some examples are prayer time and not reading your Bible.

2. Satan wants to distract us from God! (Pschirerp, par. 1)
Some examples are false doctrines, money, friends, and sports.

3. Satan wants to discourage us! (Pschirerp, par. 1)
Some examples are fill our ears, heart, and mind with lies.

4. Satan wants to instill fear and doubt in you! (Pschirerp, par. 1)
An example is doubt in God’s truth and people will not take steps out of faith.

In this particular blog, the author is trying to reach out mostly towards teenagers. The reason why I think so is because this is the point in a teenager’s life when they are trying to figure out who they are and what they want to become. Teenagers are able to pick and choose whether or not they want to have faith or believe in any kind of religion. It is the teenagers choice and choosing to believe in a religion will determine on how they want to live their life. Do they want to live and serve God? Or do they want to live the way they want and serve Satan? Most teenagers will turn away from the Lord that is why the author wants to persuade teenagers to follow the Lord.
The author uses examples about how Satan is trying to sabotage our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He also gives examples on how to follow in the Lord’s footsteps and to get back to worshiping the Lord. The author uses scriptures in the Bible to help identity or explain a problem or specific situation that people struggle with daily. He also uses bold words to promote the point that he is trying to get across. For example, he uses the words believe and faith in bold print.
This blog is trying to help people that are strongly struggling in their faith and need encouragement to get back to serving the Lord. The author is wanting to promote Jesus Christ through Christians and non-believers. Mostly the author wants to promote Jesus Christ to young teenagers who are confused about their faith and have questions, but do not know who to talk too. The author wants to encourage people to believe in Jesus Christ and to follow in His footsteps daily.
